Jean-Marie Cadot, a Paris native, grew up in a family steeped in the restaurant, hotel, and bakery industries dating back to the 1700s. His culinary journey began at just eight years old, learning the craft in his father’s bakery. After obtaining degrees from the Ferrandi Cooking School and the Grands Moulins de Paris Baking and Pastry School, Jean-Marie apprenticed at the renowned three-star Michelin restaurant Lasserre in Paris. He continued his career in Paris, gaining further experience at two additional Michelin-starred restaurants before moving to New York City and Dallas. Now, with over 27 years of expertise in upscale French cuisine and extensive knowledge of banquet and catering services, Jean-Marie has opened Cadot Restaurant.
