As a native of Kansas City, Missouri, I moved to Dallas Texas with a big change of heart to discover my path to be an artist! Yet, the first step was picking up a comb and color brush.Never did I know such a transition would take my dreams to the next level. Art is viewed through the eyes of the beholder and mine where just being opened!
Through my education at the Ogle school of Cosmetology, I was a sponge taking in as much information I could. Till one day I was offered to compete in the North American Trend Vision Competition. To my surprise I was a finalist and held that tile for three years to come! My career was rocketing faster than I knew it.
After competing and holding a national title I was signed to Wella and worked around the world with some of the best hair artist. Yet, it soon became time to plant my roots in Dallas of my work. So, as the song goes, ” Started from the bottom, Now I’m Here.”
Yes, I am here as a stylist behind the chair, artistic educator and now working to be an educator for Matrix. Though so much has changed so fast my work is yet to be complete. So you stay tuned to see what new art I come up with, cause you never know it may just be a piece I create on you!
