Our seafood-oriented restaurant was established by three Greek brothers in 1909. Originally a bakery and a luncheonette, Athenian Seafood Restaurant and Bar was among the first in Seattle to receive a liquor license for beer in 1933. The sign above the front door has remained unchanged for over half a century.
Our restaurant’s transformation from a bakery to a tavern and eventually a restaurant is a true representation of the growth opportunities in our country.
